Nike and Eliud Kipchoge Launch Kenya-Inspired Running Capsule Collection
Featuring a re-release of the sought-after Air Zoom Alphafly NEXT%.
Eliud Kipchoge is without a doubt one of the greatest runners of all time. Back in 2019 he did what many people thought was impossible and broke his own world record with a sub two-hour marathon, shortly after winning his fourth London Marathon and setting a new course record that same year.
Now in celebration of his glistening career, Nike Running has collaborated with the 36-year-old on a unique Kenya-inspired capsule collection.
Comprising a running T-shirt, singlet and wind runner, each garment celebrates Kipchoge’s record-breaking achievements with bold colors and graphics. Details like the athlete’s initials sit alongside his marathon time of 1:59:40 on each garment, all of which sport Kenyan colors of red, green and black.
Arriving alongside the apparel the re-release of the Nike Air Zoom Alphafly NEXT% and the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 37. Originally launched in October before last year’s elite-only London Marathon, both runners feature high-speed detailing on heel tabs and insoles alike. Each mixes white Atomkint uppers, forefoot Zoom Air pucks and a full-length carbon fiber with a thick ZoomX foam midsole for ultimate speed and energy return.
The Nike Running x Eliud Kipchoge capsule collection is available to buy now from the Nike online store.
