Converse’s Chuck 70 Gets The Knitted Treatment
Don’t you wanna touch them?

Converse’s Chuck 70 is arguably ones of the most celebrated sneakers in history. Based on a basketball shoe from the mid-1920s, its iconic silhouette and casual aesthetic has seen it adorned by an array of different subcultures across the world.
Now for Fall/Winter 2020, Converse has reimagined this classic design and taken influence by experimenting with both textiles and weaving. Entitled the ‘Vibrant Knit Chuck 70’, unexpected hues have been crafted and have resulted in both a unique texture and look.
Arriving in two colorways — “Lavender Frost” and “Ocean Depths” blue — each shoe is completed with the classic rubber outsole and toe cap, Ortholite cushioning and high-gloss eyelets.
Converse’s Vibrant Knit Chuck 70 is set to launch on September 22 via the brand’s online webstore, retailing at $120 USD.
In other news, Converse has reworked its Star Player with asymmetrical Terry Cloth uppers.
