AKILA Taps SANG BLEU For an Updated Vantage Capsule

Revisiting their collaborative partnership, SANG BLEU and AKILA have come together once again for an updated Vantage sunglasses capsule. This time around, Maxime Plescia-Buchi’s legendary tattoo and design studio has applied a series of new design cues for new look.

The Vantage 2.0 frames are constructed of eco-conscious Mazzucchelli acetate with a comfier fit and three new colorways. The neo-classic silhouette features Visottica Comotec seven-barrel hinges with stainless steel temple cores and SANG BLEU’s branding typeface marked on the arms. Each pair of frames features scratch-resistant Optical Class 1 nylon lenses with 100 percent full UVA/UVB protection.

SANG BLEU’s Vantage 2.0 sunglasses capsule will be available exclusively on AKILA’s website September 24, 11 a.m. PST.
