Following the introduction of its PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier, LG Electronics Inc. has now unveiled its latest invention designed to combat hair loss.

Part of its Pra.L beauty appliance brand launched back in 2017, the LG Pra.L MediHair utilizes Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT), which has been cleared by the US Food and Drug Administration as a treatment for androgenetic alopecia (male-pattern baldness). The hair growth helmet features 146 laser and 104 LED lights to stimulate hair follicle stem cells to support hair growth and slows down male-pattern baldness.
