Converse Reworks Star Player With Asymmetrical Terry Cloth Uppers
Clad with vibrant “Lotus Pink” and “Potpurri” colors.

Converse has unveiled a brand new iteration of the Star Player — “Lotus Pink.” The colorway has been imagined with asymmetrical terry cloth uppers, offering a textured feel to the vintage silhouette.
A split patch logo appears at the top of the shoe, set atop a tongue separated by reconstructed panels colored in a light “Lotus Pink” and “Potpurri” — the former of which is placed on the lateral side of the shoe; the latter, medial. Thin round laces cover the forefoot, complemented by brass-tinted eyelets and white top-stitching seen throughout the body. Converse’s Star logo is set in black at the sidewalls, matching the shade of the shoe’s foxing along the midsole. All of these details rest over a retro-inspired “Egret”-toned sole to complete the shoe’s vibrant design.
Converse’s asymmetrical Star Player “Lotus Pink” will be available on September 22, 10 a.m. EDT on the label’s website for $95 USD.
In case you missed it, COMME des GARÇONS PLAY and Converse’s popular Chuck 70 collection has been restocked.
