Juice WRLD's 'Legends Never Die' Goes Platinum Five Weeks After Release

Juice WRLD‘s posthumous album Legends Never Die has gone platinum, selling more than one million units within five weeks of its release.
The project marks the late rapper’s second platinum album following Goodbye and Good Riddance, which was certified seven months after its release in December 2018. Legends Never Die features guest appearances from the likes of Trippie Redd, Halsey, Marshmello, Polo G and The Kid LAROI, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and holding the biggest opening week of 2020 for a total of two weeks. As of writing, the album is yet to leave the top 10.
The Weeknd recently dropped off his posthumous collab with Juice WRLD entitled “Smile” and shared a heartwarming visual honoring the deceased rapper. The end of the animated visual sees Juice streaming from heaven on Instagram Live, saying he made it.
