Juice WRLD and The Weeknd Drop an Animated Visual for "Smile"
In loving memory of Jarad Anthony Higgins, “Juice WRLD.”
Shortly after the release of “Smile,” the estate of Juice WRLD and The Weeknd have come together for an animated visual.
Animated by KDC Visions with additional editing from Aylo and Kelzo, the team behind the “Wishing Well” visual captured the message of the posthumous release. Starting off with a recreation of the Legends Never Die album cover, the animated short is largely centered around a continuing connection between the late rapper and what looks to be his girlfriend, Ally Lotti.
Coming in for his verse, The Weeknd looks to have been involved in a car accident but walks away unharmed once again stepping into his After Hours persona. The end of the visual sees Juice receive his angel wings and a take on a celebrated clip of the rapper on Instagram Live talking about being in heaven.
