Pigalle, one of streetwear’s most well known brands based in Paris, just celebrated a key milestone. Founder and designer Stéphane Ashpool has now been ten years in the business and he decided to use Paris Fashion Week’s digitally-directed rollout as a way to remind the industry of what Pigalle has done.

For the presentation, Ashpool dressed his models in some of the brand’s most iconic looks from past collections and releases. Some garments shown were from the itss basketball-themed collabs with Nike, colorful suiting from its Summer 2017 line, its logo-heavy hoodies from earlier years and a few other ostentatious designs from the more recent presentations.

Pigalle has been a fashion stalwart in Paris and the ten year retrospective is also Ashpool’s 20th show/presentation. It’s been a remarkable run from the brand who has not only galvanized the city’s youth fashion culture but also sport culture, namely basketball alongside Nike. The Pigalle flagship is a key destination for streetwear fans as well and it looks like Ashpool may have more tricks up his sleeve in the next ten or so years.
