AGAINST LAB.'s "SPLIT" Collection Inspired by Dueling Personalities
Another strong round of graphics from the fledgling streetwear imprint.
Up-and-coming Malaysian streetwear label AGAINST LAB. has returned with a new collection dubbed “SPLIT.” The word is an acronym for the concept: “Strange Personas Living In Twined.” In the new range, the brand explores the dueling personalities present in all humans. “The fight happening between our extroversion and introversion, between our glee and our gloom, between our sanity & insanity,” AGAINST LAB. describes in a press release. “We all have these daily inner struggles, much like everything in life, it’s all a balancing act!”
Renowned for the graphics, AGAINST LAB. elevates its streetwear presence with new staples emblazoned with scribbled logos, doodle art and experimental typography. There are also phrases in the range that relate to the brand’s dueling themes such as; “Life is a Balance,” “The Future is Knowledge” and “Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.” Tees are the true standouts in the capsule yet some other eye-catching items include the camo trousers, graphic polo shirt, layered shorts and oversized suit.
The collection will release on July 22 8AM EDT at AGAINST LAB.’s website and in select retailers worldwide.
