Nike SB Nyjah Free 2 Drops in "Smoke Grey/Light Solar Flare Heather"
Reminiscent of the Nike Air Max 95 OG “Neon.”
Trailing behind the “Obsidian/Club Gold” colorway, Nike Skateboarding now serves up a striking new makeup for Nyjah Huston’s Nike SB Nyjah Free 2.
Reminiscent of the Nike Air Max 95 OG “Neon” sneaker, the low-top pair receives bold hits of “Smoke Grey” across the upper with “Light Solar Flare” accents on the eye-stays. Tonal black appears on the stitched paneling across the tongue that is balanced out with white tones on the soles and laces. And while the shoe doesn’t feature gradient patterning on its sides like the original Nike AM95, this sneaker’s design exception pays homage to the electric colorway that is beloved by Swooshheads the world over.
The Nike SB Nyjah Free 2 borrows tech from the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon as it’s equipped with a similar rubber design complete with mesh panels to keep feet cool during intense skate sessions. The rubber outsole features deep grooves that widen and contact with every step while offering unparalleled comfort from the get-go. Rounding out the specs are Ghillie lace loops that conform to the shape of your foot from the top to the bottom alongside a three-quarter inner liner for added comfiness.
Of course, the athletic label rarely overlooks the smallest details with the pro skater’s name “Nyjah” printed on the front tongue portions with “II” embellished on the heel tabs. Pick up a pair of the Nike SB Nyjah Free 2 “Smoke Grey/Light Solar Flare” on Nike France’s website for approximately $110 USD.
Elsewhere in footwear, Concepts raffled off a Nike SB Dunk “Lobster” and raised $133,000 USD for the non-profit organization My Brother’s Keeper.
