Nyjah Huston's Nike SB Nyjah Free 2 Drops in "Obsidian/Club Gold"
The elite skater’s latest silhouette draws its colorway inspiration from a classic makeup of the Zoom Spiridon.

Nyjah Huston and Nike SB‘s new Nyjah Free 2 has released in a familiar “Obsidian/Club Gold” colorway. With a build and palette that draw from Nike Sportswear‘s classic Zoom Spiridon sitting above a flexible rubber sole, the Nyjah Free 2 puts forth an inherently casual look that’s not lacking in the performance department.
Uppers boast a bold blue rubber mudguard with a debossed swoosh and durable white taped seams. These hard-wearing details offset the stripped-back nature of the white mesh forefoot and quarter, which was designed to cut weight and provide exemplary breathability. “Club Gold” is present on the Swoosh for a dash of regal detailing. In a clever twist, the pops of red from the Spiridon’s “Club Gold” makeup are repurposed, moved to the “Nyjah”-branded tongue tabs and the heel’s SB graphic. Ghillie lace loops provide a little more running shoe flair, and a flexible yet firm Free midsole — taken from Nike Running‘s popular barefoot running line and repurposed with an extra-sturdy rubber compound — that’s perfect for skating completes the look.
The Nike SB Nyjah Free “Obsidian/Club Gold” is available now at international stockists like Nike France, and will likely arrive in the United States soon. The retail price is set at €95 EUR (approximately $107 USD).
