HOKA ONE ONE Readies Vibrant "Tokyo Neon" Collection
Bright takes on the Speedgoat 4 and Stinson ATR 6 trail runners.
HOKA ONE ONE is a performance running brand at its core, but the French-founded, California-based footwear company has been known to dip its toes into the lifestyle waters as well, the latest product of which is a vibrant “Tokyo Neon” collection. Consisting of bright takes on the Speedgoat 4 and Stinson ATR 6 trail runners, the “Tokyo Neon” pack gives its duo of rough and rugged backcountry silhouettes a makeover that’s decidedly urban, inspired by the bright neon lights that shine in the Tokyo nighttime.
Speedgoat 4s offer a breathable-but-durable upper with seamless 3D-printed overlays and a two-tone midsole with a bold HOKA hit on the front half. Sleek lined graphics combine with the aforementioned overlays to give an air of great speed, and toothed outsoles are constructed of Vibram rubber. Meanwhile, the Stinson ATR 6 offers a more laid-back look with its fused mesh upper and ultra-thick midsole, among the largest and softest HOKA offers. A traditional branded strike is present on the heel as well.
Although it’s applied differently, each pair features the same color scheme: a rich navy blue and black upper inspired by dark night skies, plus punches of neon yellow on the midsole and branded accents for a nod to Tokyo’s swath of neon lights.
The HOKA ONE ONE Speedgoat 4 and Stinson ATR 6 “Tokyo Neon” are both set to release at retailers like atmos on August 3. The Speedgoat 4 is priced at ¥19,000 JPY (approximately $181 USD) while the Stinson ATR 6 arrives at ¥18,000 JPY (approximately $171 USD).
