Future Cruises Through Miami in "Ridin Strikers" Music Video
Before robbing a bank with an all-woman gang.
Back in May, Future released his eighth studio album High Off Life, which later topped the Billboard 200 albums chart. Today, the Atlanta rapper dropped a new video for the hit track “Ridin Strikers” from off the album. Directed by Eif Rivera, the visuals see Future surrounded by luxury cars and his crew in Miami before the narrative kicks off. The rapper rides in the backseat of a G-Wagon with an all-woman gang before arriving at the popular Cuban restaurant Los Caneyes. They end up robbing the place — even though Future doesn’t touch the money or go into the restaurant himself.
“Riding strikers good,” Future raps. “Riding strikers in the hood.” About three minutes in, the song suddenly has a beat switch. “The police need your help in tracking down a suspect in a bank robbery this morning on the city’s north side,” a voice follows. “According to police, the suspect walked into the bank about nine this morning. Went straight to one of the tellers, handed over a note that said ‘Put money in bag.’” Clips of a police car build suspension, before it’s revealed that the girls’ friends are actually driving it.

In related news, Future launched a new initiative called “I’m Still a Dreamer,” which awards scholarships to incoming college freshmen who have been affected by COVID-19.
