The latest torchbearer for Jordan Brand‘s long-running Trunner line, the Trunner Ultimate provides high-end running and training performance wrapped up in a space-age silhouette. After debuting at the top of May it’s now back in a duo of new colorways, namely an earthy “Light Orewood Brown/Black” and an airy “White/Flash Crimson.”
Equally apt at speed training exercises as it is conditioning runs, the Trunner Ultimate’s main feature is its diamond-shaped midsole cage that houses a full-foot Zoom Air cushioning unit. This provides a responsive feel, exceptional lateral stability and explosive energy return, all while working with a FlightFin heel for smooth transitions. Uppers are streamlined as well, using a full synthetic mesh build to cut weight and increase airflow. Branding is handled by Jumpman logos on tongues and heels, with a final Trunner Ultimate motif on the medial midfoot.
From a colorway standpoint, “Light Orewood Brown/Black” serves up a soft brown upper and midsole, with contrast arriving via a black midfoot cage, heel tab and trim. “Rage Green” accents are dispersed throughout to add further flair. “White/Flash Crimson” is dressed in angelic, cloud-like white tones with pops of bright crimson on the Zoom Air unit, tongue and heel tab.
The Jordan Trunner Ultimate “Light Orewood Brown/Black” and “White/Flash Crimson” are both available now on the Nike webstore, and each is priced at $150 USD.
