Your Dog Can Now Wear YEEZY-Inspired Sneakers
Fresh Pawz’s first-ever functional shoe, called the Beluga 544.
Fresh Pawz, the self-proclaimed “official streetwear brand for dogs,” has launched its first-ever sneaker designed specifically for dogs. The shoe, called Beluga 544, protects dogs’ paws from harmful surfaces, especially during the hot summer months. Ranging from 1.5 to 2.2 inches, the shoes are designed to fit smaller dogs like pugs and terriers, as well as larger ones like Golden Retrievers and Boxers.
The entirety of the shoe’s upper is constructed from softly textured gray primeknit fabric, while a rugged rubber sole offers paw protection. A velcro closure at the top of the shoe provides adjustability and added comfort. Additional updates by Fresh Pawz include bright orange tags reading “SPLY 544,” referencing the detailing on the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 Beluga, and paw prints imprinted on the bottom of the shoes. All of the materials used to develop the 544s are eco-friendly.
