After releasing a surprise remix from IDM powerhouse Jon Hopkins, Aussie producer Flume and Toro y Moi are now doubling down on the rework with a brand new music video for “The Difference.”

Taking 1000 hours to make, the claymation video for the remixed track — directed by Taylor Bonin and Stephanie Hulewicz — is filled with surreal technicolor imagery. It replicates much of the original video’s atmosphere, dipping into tripped-out visuals that see both Flume and Toro y Moi adopting clay alter-egos.

“The Difference” is Flume’s first release of 2020, which follows a hefty 2019 that included his recent Hi This Is Flume mixtape and Quits EP alongside Reo Cragun.
