Rowing Blazers and FILA Take It Back to the 1980s With SS20 Capsule
Delivering Tennis 88 sneakers, polos, shorts, and color-blocked tracksuits.

New York-based label Rowing Blazers and the heritage Italian sportswear brand FILA have come together to present a bold, zig-zag-covered Spring/Summer 2020 capsule.
Rowing Blazers is known for its preppy, Ivy League-like approach to fashion, while FILA is widely recognized for its garments and shoes that were popular throughout the ’80s casual era. Together, the two have delivered a Tennis-centric collection, serving up clothing and sneakers in the colorway of FILA’s logo.
Kicking off the collaboration is a tracksuit. The Agostino jacket and the Bello joggers are both available in either red or navy, and complement each other with the use of zig-zags adorning the side stripes and cuffed elements of each piece. Joining the tracksuit is the Fidelio polo, which updates the traditional tennis polo with zig-zag stripes, a contrasting collar and button placket, and adds Rowing Blazer’s logo next to Fila’s branding.
Rounding out the choice of clothes is a pair of Benvolio shorts, which once again appear in a white, red, and navy colorway with zig-zag detailing. Rowing Blazers and FILA complete their collaboration with a pair of Tennis 88 sneakers, which combine white full-grain leather with a navy and red zig-zag pattern wrapping around the side and rear of the shoe.
Rowing Blazers’ signature croquet stripes can be found on the insole, while its branding graces the tongue. FILA has added its branding on the heel, mid-panel, and sole unit.
