Alicia Keys has published a video to her Twitter feed, urging her audience of 30 million followers to take action against the killing of Breonna Taylor, who was fatally shot by Louisville Metro Police Department officers on March 13.

Taylor’s death has become one of the rallying causes of the current #BlackLivesMatter protests, which have swept countries across the globe.

The video includes spoken testimonial from Taylor’s mother, Tamika Palmer, who recounts the details leading up to Taylor’s killing. It also features the activist Tamika Mallory, who provides details of politicians and public officials (including the Mayor and Interim Police Chief of Louisville) who can be contacted.

At the end of the video, a host of figures from across the music and entertainment industries join Keys in asking: “Do you know what happened to Breonna Taylor?”

Among those included in the video are Snoh Aalegra, Willow Smith, Tinashe, Janelle Monáe, Willow Smith, Zoe Saldana, and Kelly Rowland.

In recent weeks, artists across the music industry have spoken out in favour of the #BlackLivesMatter movement.
