Mr Eazi and his emPawa Africa mentorship program have released One Day You Will Understand, a four-track project featuring melodic and emotive Afropop tunes.
The Nigerian superstar’s first new project since the acclaimed Life is Eazi, Vol. 2 – Lagos To London of 2018, One Day You Will Understand boasts production from an all-start team of Africa’s top producers, including GUILTYBEATZ, BLAQ JERZEE, NONSO AMADI and LEGENDURY BEATZ. Joining Eazi are MIKEL on “I No Give Up On You,” C NATTY on “Baby This Your Body Na Gòbe Fine Fine Sweet Òkpéke” and Ghanian highlight star KING PROMISE on “Baby I’m Jealous.”
Eazi launched emPawa Africa in 2018 and has provided start-up funding to 130 emerging African artists to launch their professional recording careers. The mentorship program has seen the rise of JOEBOY, LADY DONLI and J.DEROBIE to name a few.
