Audemars Piguet has just released a new version of the Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon GMT watch for 2020. The technical watch balances both the worlds of haute horlogerie and classic watchmaking. Sitting at the considerable size of 44mm x 16.1mm, the new Royal Oak Concept now replaces the black ceramic bezel with a tonal sandblasted titanium version, and now comes with a gray rubber strap.

The entire watch also takes on more of a subtle appearance with slate-grays, whites and silver replacing the 2018 predecessor’s contrasting gold and black indices, hands, and 3 positions H-N-R function selector. Powering the new Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon GMT is the manually-wound caliber 2954 movement which packs a GMT function, flying tourbillon, and a massive 237-hours of power reserve.

Limited to 30 pieces, the 2020 Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon GMT will cost you $198,400 USD and will be exclusive to Audemars Piguet’s Parisian retailer Arije.
