Audemars Piguet has unveiled the Royal Oak Selfwinding Chronograph “Serena Williams” Limited Edition, celebrating a decade-long relationship with the professional athlete, entrepreneur and producer. Arriving in a slim and sleek 38mm size, the timepiece boasts a white ceramic case, bezel, and crown, as well as an integrated bracelet that are hand‑finished with alternating satin and polished surfaces.
The defining visual highlight of the watch is its polished, pink-tinted mother-of-pearl dial. Designed to reflect a balance of strength and grace, the iridescent dial includes 18-carat white gold hands, rhodium-toned 18-carat pink gold applied hour-markers filled with luminescent material, and rhodium-threaded borders encircling the sub-dials. Positioned between 4 and 5 o’clock is a color-matched pink date window with crisp white numerals.
Visible through the glareproofed sapphire exhibition caseback – framed in titanium and engraved with “Limited Edition” – is a 22-carat pink gold oscillating weight and Haute Horlogerie decorations such as Côtes de Genève, circular graining, and hand-beveling. For added versatility, the watch also includes an interchangeable pink rubber strap fitted with white ceramic studs and a titanium AP folding clasp.
