Continuing to stretch its reach beyond its celebrated publication, National Geographic has collaborated with Vans on an expansive footwear range.
Comprise of six models, the shoes are all decorated with elements of the publication’s iconic covers. Aside from expressing brilliant photography of nature, wildlife and more, bold hits of yellow taken from the signature frame grace the uppers found on the UltraRange EXO, Slip-On, Era, Authentic, Old Skool and Sk8-Hi.
The UltraRange EXO features a full print spotlight of space with a view that shows Earth and the bright rays of the distant Sun, while the Slip-On depicts Greenland’s Pine Island Glacier. A standout of the special range is the Era covered in National Geographic magazine covers that reveal the publication’s reverence for nature and complete with repeated usage of the recognizable yellow border.
Priced at $75 and $96 USD, the National Geographic x Vans UltraRange EXO, Era and Classic Slip-On are available now at HBX.
