REASON and ScHoolboy Q Creep on Sinister New Single "Pop Sh*t"
Produced by TDE’s Kal Banx.

REASON season seems to be right around the corner. Following the release of a slew of singles including “Same Ol Sh*t,” “Flick It Up,” “Show Stop,” “Trapped In,” and his recent “Might Not Make It” for TDE Fan Appreciation Week, the Carson-hailing wordsmith has now teamed up with ScHoolboy Q for a brand new track titled “Pop Sh*t.”
To say the least, “Pop Sh*t” is an absolute murk of a track. Over an unlawfully-sinister beat provided by TDE’s Kal Banx, the two MCs fire off murderous bars. “Wait, ride with my block, ride with my steez, pop shit/I ain’t need help, I got the keys, locksmith/Fuck who the best, I clean up mess, mop shit,” REASON opens on the first verse. Groovy doesn’t hold back either: “Dance on my heels, mom in this still/Plug in my wheel, dubs what I fear/Ride for my tears, wait/Die for my block, rise in that pot/Lead to my opps, dead in that box.”
REASON’s most recent project arrived in the form of his 2018 debut studio album There You Have It, with his forthcoming LP — presumably titled New Beginnings — expected to arrive this year. Until then, listen to “Pop Sh*t” below.
