For fans of the iconic Japanese soda with a glass marble in the bottle, McDonald’s Japan is now preparing the release of a Ramune flavored McShake.

Created in collaboration with storied confectionery company, Morinaga, the limited-time Japan-exclusive frozen treat is based on the candy form of the carbonated soft drink known for its codd-neck bottle. The Ramune McShake features a distinct lemon-lime taste that expressed through a sweet, rich creaminess with an icy finish perfect for the summer. The serving cups have also been specially designed to use the distinctive colour of Morinaga’s ramune candy bottle and contrast red packaging details.

Priced at ¥120 and ¥200 JPY (approximately $1.12 and $1.86 USD) respectively, the Morinaga x McDonald’s Japan Ramune McShake is set to be available in small and medium sizes from May 20 to mid-June at McDonald’s Japan.

For more food and beverage news, Yoshinoya recently brought back its Pokéball beef bowls.
