ASICS Brings Back OG GEL-Nandi Runner in Trail-Ready Blue and Orange Design
To celebrate its 20th anniversary.

It’s been 20 years since ASICS first released its GEL-Nandi runner, so now the turn-of-the-century trail sneaker is back in all its original glory to kick off its third decade on the market. Arriving in a vibrant “Blue/Orange” colorway, the Nandi is fully ready for any and all summertime hikes.
The Nandi may appear inherently familiar to any ASICS aficionado — after all, its upper is used on the hybrid GEL-Nandi 360 — but this original style is a throwback to a different era. Wild, jagged blue and orange overlays are splayed across the light stone-colored mesh upper. This compelling cacophony is centered around a midfoot Tiger stripe, and adds additional branding on heel tabs and tongues alike.
Down below, midsoles are built from a sturdy grey EVA foam with a navy midfoot shank for support. Orange detailing continues the ethos espoused on the top half. Although it’s not visible, GEL is ensconced in the heel for signature ASICS cushioning. Toothed tri-color outsoles finalize the look by offering ample traction for uneven terrain.
ASICS’ GEL-Nandi “Blue/Orange” will release at retailers like END. on June 12, and is priced at an extremely reasonable $95 USD.
