Blue Blue Japan SS20 Offers Rich Reworked Textiles
Hand-dyed, stitched and treated indigo staples.

Blue Blue Japan textural experiments continue for Spring/Summer 2020, as the indigo-obsessed brand delivers another assortment of lavish fabrications and elevated seasonal staples laden with hand-worked details. Patchwork, custom dyes and relaxed cuts inform a host of essential warm weather layering pieces.
Menswear and womenswear alike features treated linen and cotton goods, ranging from boxy printed shirts to ombre dresses to boro-stitched separates. Undyed white items offer a palette cleanser in between all the cool-hued staples, abetted by some sharp tailoring and lightweight scarves. Along with conventional chore coats, sweaters, jeans and shorts, progressive styling is encouraged by a few intentional outliers, like pullover windbreakers and a 3/4 sleeve hoodie.
