Nike ACG Moc 3.0 Takes On Tie-Dye Prints
Colorful spiraled graphics coat the unique silhouette’s upper.
Half moccasin, half sneaker and entirely unique, Nike ACG‘s ACG Moc 3.0 is an undeniably striking hybrid design — one that’s now surfaced with a vibrant tie-dye print. One of the main footwear offerings from the ACG Summer 2020 line alongside the Air Deschutz Sandal, this Moc follows up three styles that released in 2019.
Asymmetrical uppers — lower on the lateral collar, higher on the medial collar — draw inspiration from Nike Sportswear‘s Air Footscape. They’re built of a lightweight fabric with a quilted stitch pattern, and are dressed entirely in a spiral tie-dye print that spreads out from the forefoot. This twisting embellishment combines yellows, oranges, reds, purples and blues in vivid fashion to play up its retro look.
White leather toe bumpers and lateral overlays feature an embroidered purple Swoosh and surround a breathable mesh panel, respectively. A triangular purple and green ACG badge is embroidered on the heel, with more purple and green present on heel/tongue tabs and collars. Down below, a speckled white EVA foam midsole and white/tan outsole finalize the style.
The Nike ACG Moc 3.0 “Tie-Dye” will release via Nike SNKRS Japan and retailers like Sneakersnstuff on May 14. The MSRP is set at a flat $100 USD.
Elsewhere in the world of the Swoosh, the Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 is set to drop in a familiar “University Blue” colorway.
