KAPITAL Crafts Functional 60/40 Cloth Kung-Fu Mountain Parka
Complete with traditional Chinese frog buttons.
KAPITAL has unveiled a brand new piece from its expansive Spring/Summer 2020 lineup. After recently dropping its blue denim work shirt and pink stretch chino coverall, the Japanese label has offered yet another kung-fu-inspired garment, this time in the form of a light, slightly elongated mountain parka.
Much of the piece is dominated by a sleek black shade, complemented by hits of gray and creamy ecru tones. The most striking detail on the jacket is its central closure lined with traditional Chinese frog buttons in a contrasting beige palette. At the shoulders are stretchy gray cotton panels, emblazoned with contrasting orange overlays. The jacket also comes with two large flap pockets around the hem — a small patch with the words “Kung-Fu-Sion” is placed at the bottom left flap, while “60/40” tag is placed at the left sleeve cuff. Other details like inner nylon pockets, a skinny cinch cord at the waist and a short Mandarin collar round up the jacket’s design.
KAPITAL’s 60/40 Cloth Kung-Fu Mountain parka I-B is currently available on HAVEN’s website for $1,096 USD.
