Hayley Williams Enjoys a Fun Car Ride in "Watch Me While I Bloom" Visual
A cut from her debut solo album, ‘Petals for Armor.’
Hayley Williams dropped off an accompanying lyric video for her Petals for Armor cut, “Watch Me While I Bloom.”
The visual features brief behind-the-scenes shots of her album’s recording process, showing Paramore guitarist and album producer Taylor York tinkering around with guest bassist Brian Robert Jones (also a touring member of Vampire Weekend). Meanwhile, Williams and her friend Lindsey Byrnes are seen doing what she calls “interpretative carseat dancing,” noting on Instagram that she misses normal life.
Petals for Amor opened at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums chart, making Williams the first and only woman to lead the chart as both a solo act and with a group.
