HYPEBAE to Host 'Animal Crossing: New Horizons' Fashion Show
A virtual event featuring custom designer fits.
Nintendo‘s Animal Crossing: New Horizon has unexpectedly become a global platform for fashion. In celebration of the growing fashion community within the game, HYPEBAE will host its first-ever virtual Animal Crossing fashion show.
Fans of the title have gone on to display some of their best original pieces and even create collections identical to several real-life fashion brands. Designers and brands such as Sandy Liang, Valentino, and Marc Jacobs have hosted gatherings or released virtual lookbooks through the game. Meanwhile popular accounts like Animal Crossing Fashion Archive, ANIMALCROSSFITS, and Crossing The Runway have become a new wellspring of style creativity. Accounts taking on interpretations of designers such as Nooksey Miyake, Acnh Studios, and Nook Margiela further inspired this community while also providing a social connection during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Hoping to bring our online community together during this global quarantine, HYPEBAE’s virtual runway will see fans of the game walk the virtual runway in their best-customized outfit.
