After creating much buzz around the launch its Store Vault last week, Epic Games is back with another game that will be available for free download. As part of the initiative, the gaming engine has announced that beginning today, Sid Meier’s Civilization VI will be available to download on PC for free. This is the second of four games that the brand is letting fans cop without charge this month.

Civilization VI, the sixth part of the series, is a turn-based strategy game that takes players on an exploration of the world in an attempt to create a new civilization from an early settlement. Players roam the Civilization VI map in hopes to become a world power and achieve one of several victory conditions including military domination, technological superiority or cultural influence over other players. An online multi-player mode allows you to take your game even further.

Keep an eye out each week as the remaining games to be released through the Epic Games Store are revealed. Civilization VI will be free on PC through May 28. Download it now and keep it forever through Epic Games’ website.
