ABT Sportsline Pushes the Audi RS6 Avant up to 690 Horsepower
Limited to 125 units worldwide.
After earlier unveiling its limited-edition high-performance RS7-R based on the Audi RS7, tuning company ABT Sportsline has now followed up with an upgraded version of the German automaker’s RS6 Avant — the RS6-R.
Like its previous release, the new RS6-R is also limited to 125 units made. The list of upgrades are also similar. The company has built a new front lip, front grille frame add-on, rear skirt add-on, side skirt attachments and fender inserts with its ABT Aerodynamic carbon components, not only shaving weight and decreasing drag but also creating a more aggressive appearance for the five-door. Its exhaust system has been improved with a stainless steel option with four carbon end pipes, complemented by weight-optimized 22-inch ABT High Performance HR wheels. Finally, to give its performance a boost, ABT Sportsline has pushed the output from 591 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque to an impressive 690 horsepower and 649 pound-feet of torque.
