Billie Eilish's "Bad Guy" Parodied in 'Animal Crossing: New Horizons' as "Bass Guy"

Nintendo‘s Animal Crossing: New Horizons has taken the world by storm, and now popular YouTube channel Girlfriend Reviews has used the platform to parody Billie Eilish‘s “Bad Guy” with the remix, “Bass Guy.”
In recent weeks we’ve seen the likes of 100 Thieves drop a clothing collection on the game, and HYPEBEAST itself has dissected how the game has become the ultimate fashion outlet. Animal Crossing: New Horizons enables players to build their own world, and now, it’s been used to create a music video.
The “Bass Guy” parody doesn’t just mimic the song “Bad Guy,” it also recreates the music video. Lyrics are game-focused, with lines including “I’ve got to pay off all my loan, so to the waters I will go,” and a chorus that says “That I’m the bass guy/Always fishing trash guy/Pretty crappy catch guy/Nintendo please patch guy.”
“Bass Guy”‘s music video sees a mini Billie Eilish-like character explore the virtual world, and nods to the original “Bad Guy” video with a bloody nose during the opening, as well as plenty of scenes that jump and skip in tune to the beat. Watch the parody music video above.
