The Berrics Follow the Olympic Skateboarders in "Pushing for Gold"
Watch 21 skateboarders train for the 2020 Summer Games.
As we get closer to the debut of skateboarding in the 2020 Summer Olympics, TikTok and The Berrics are launching a new series that follows the journey of the USA Skateboarding National Team. The series “Pushing for Gold” follows the team’s skaters who have been divided into the following categories: Men’s Park, Women’s Park, Men’s Street and Women’s Street.
Although the final number of team riders has been fluctuating since the initial announcement in 2019, this video series follows 21 skaters. You may recognize some of the skaters in the Men’s Street category which include Nyjah Huston, Jamie Foy, and Jagger Eaton, who was the youngest X Games competitor when he was 11. The Women’s Street category includes Lacey Baker, Mariah Duran, and Alexis Sablone. Zion Wright, another skateboarding fan favorite, will be channeling his all-terrain skate ability into the Men’s Park competition instead of Street.
