N. HOOLYWOOD & New Balance Craft ML850 With "Rescue Orange" Highlights

N. HOOLYWOOD has unveiled a new collaboration with New Balance under the Japanese label’s military-inspired TEST PRODUCT EXCHANGE SERVICE line. The two entities have given a bright “Rescue Orange” spin on the classic 850 model, a retro silhouette that first debuted in 1996. This release follows a previous co-sign from back in July, which saw a grayed-out rendition of the CM996.
Starting at the top of the shoes is a glossy silver-toned tongue marked with “New Balance” and “850” branding. Contrasted against the bold highlights are bright round mustard yellow laces, matching the palette of the interior walls. Most of the body is dominated by a sleek “Rescue Orange” color that’s made up of smooth full-grain leather, suede and breathable mesh accents. Other details include tonal “NB” embroidery etched at the heel counter, a black spec motif at the toebox and, finally, a rich blue ROLLBAR insert at the red midsole for optimal comfort and stability.
