NYC-born lifestyle label Aimé Leon Dore introduces a new SS26 Performance Running Capsule in collaboration with American footwear maker New Balance. Merging New Balance’s performance innovation with Teddy Santis’ refined design perspective, the limited-edition range arrives just in time for the summer training season.
Aimé Leon Dore has consistently drawn inspiration from the diverse cultural influences of New York City, and this blue-and-orange-dominated collection is no different. The brand channels the challenging yet celebrated journey to the New York City Marathon and other fall races, grounding its signature aesthetic in utilitarian design.
The footwear lineup is rooted in two collaborative editions of New Balance’s premier runners: the FuelCell Rebel v5 and the FuelCell SC Elite v5. Built for everyday training, the FuelCell Rebel v5 is offered in a deep cobalt blue and features exclusive co-branding. Elsewhere, the FuelCell SC Elite v5 is engineered explicitly for race day, arriving in a striking gradient green that transitions into a black midsole.
The footwear lineup is joined by a bold range of performance apparel, technical outerwear and running accessories. Most notably, the collection introduces a specialized Running Utility Vest equipped with two Hydrapak SoftFlasks, underscoring the capsule’s commitment to functional race-day readiness.
The Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance Performance Running Capsule—including the footwear, apparel, and accessories—releases on Thursday, July 9 at 11 a.m. ET via the official Aimé Leon Dore webstore and flagship locations. The FuelCell Rebel v5 and FuelCell SC Elite v5 will see a subsequent release on New Balance’s official site starting Thursday, July 16.
