Ghostly International Recruits Garbstore for 20th Anniversary Apparel, Playlist
Intricate embroidery, playful patterns and a special playlist.
Ghostly International‘s ongoing 20th anniversary celebrations continue, following special edition Vans sneakers and a Floyd shelving system by joining with London’s Couverture & The Garbstore. Garbstore continues dabbling with sturdy Japanese-milled CORDURA for the partnership, imagining two unique garments that feature Ghostly’s familiar logo.
An embroidered zip over-shirt and a patterned camp shirt feature stylized iterations of Ghostly’s circular branding, executed in lightweight, yet tough, summer-friendly textiles. The over-shirt boasts a loose fit, Talon zipper and intricate embroidery at the front chest pocket and garment’s rear. Stylized Ghostly imagery and butterflies, designed by Julian Duron, appear on the muted layer, repurposing vintage embroidery machines for the multi-colored yarn. Its short-sleeved counterpart is cut from a breathable cotton crepe cloth, finished with an all-over print of minuscule Ghostly logos and organic corozo nut buttons.
