Junya Watanabe MAN has continued its ongoing collaboration with New Balance, releasing new takes on the COMP100, 670 and ML574 silhouettes. The three sneakers take very different approaches, ranging from the multi-textured and tonal navy Comp100 to the minimalist white ML574 design.
Arguably the stand-out, the COMP100 comes with a tonal navy upper complete with grey heel panel and white detailing including JWCdG stamp on the back. The ’70s silhouette’s upper is constructed from lightweight nylon with pigskin suede overlays, all of which sits atop a gum rubber outsole. Additionally, the 670 comes with mesh uppers and suede overlays, decked out in a black, white and red colorway with minimal branding.
Finishing off the Spring/Summer 2020 collection is the ML574, which comes in a white mesh and white leather upper sat on-top of a gum rubber outsole. The sneaker is then finished with debossed “eYe” branding on each heel, completing the all-white design.
All three Junya Watanabe MAN x New Balance sneakers are available from END., with prices ranging from $79 USD for the COMP100 to $189 USD for the ML574.
In other footwear news, New Balance’s all-new Made in US 998 is constructed from random surplus materials.
