Independent record label and art company Ghostly International recently teamed up with Detroit-based furniture brand Floyd on a limited edition of the Floyd Shelving System. The Michigan-founded brands bonded over an innate love for music and quality goods and decided to team up on a furniture solution ideal for music enthusiasts.

The collaboration is a blacked-out version of Floyd’s popular Shelving System. It features black plywood supports, six powder-coated steel shelves and Ghostly’s iconic ghost logo engraved into the top of the right support. Four of the shelves are adjustable, allow for a few different customization options.

True to Ghostly’s musical roots, the shelving system is an ideal solution to storing LP records, as it can fit up to 100 per shelf. In addition to records, the shelf can be used to display books, speakers, design objects and just about anything else needed at home or in the studio.

The Ghostly International x Floyd Shelving Unit will is currently available over on Floyd’s website for $725 USD. Production is limited to just 25 units. Each shelf comes numbered with a serial card for authentication.

Elsewhere in design, Studio 22 and CDI Furniture have joined forces for a Rose Bowl-inspired homeware collection.
