YMC Brings Brush-Stroked Camouflage, Premium Leathers & Muted Palettes to SS20
Perfecting its offering of shirts, coats and trousers once more.

London-based imprint YMC has captured its Spring/Summer 2020 collection in an Esther Theaker-shot lookbook, showcasing the latest pieces from the premium minimalist label.
Kicking off its SS20 offerings is a selection of camouflaged pieces, that tap into the YMC aesthetic with brush stroke effects for a unique take on the classic design. The camo print is muted and natural-looking, taking form on pieces such as the curvaceous Dum Dum pants, a baseball shirt, the Sgt. Rock mac coat, and the imprint’s signature Malick shirt.
Elsewhere, YMC presents a selection of rugby shirts in “Ecru/Blue” and “Ecru/Green.” These pieces are made from heavy-weight jersey and feature a twill collar, Corozo buttons, a herringbone button placket, and a vent opening on the side. There’s a standout Jocks Jacket in both brown and blue too, which is made from Tunisian leather and tanned in Italy in a way that makes for a unique finish between every single jacket produced.
Overall, SS20 from YMC is undoubtedly workwear-inspired yet off-duty and minimalistic, channeled through the materials and cuts found on its trousers — such as the garment-dyed, belt-buckled Poly Styrene Pant in “Olive” — and the selection of overshirts.
