BBC ICECREAM & Reebok Unveil Collaborative Answer V MU "Cherry Tomato"
The retro-inspired pair will land next month.
Billionaire Boys Club‘s ICECREAM and Reebok continue from their boldly-colored collaborative Answer V, seen last week, with another new take on the classic sneaker, this time around appearing in “Cherry Tomato/Posh Pink/Stinger Yellow.”
Much like the previous pair, this colorway is reminiscent of Pharrell Williams‘ ICECREAM boardflip in its sought-after “Pink Lemonade” rendition. For the Reebok Answer V MU seen above, the duo has used a mixture of leather, suede, mesh and rubber to construct its multipaneled upper — “Posh Pink” serves as the base and can be seen on the toe box, mid-panel and towards the rear, while overlaying sections of “Cherry Tomato” suede and leather adds unique shapes all around the sneaker.
Touches of “Stinger Yellow” can be found highlighting the sock liner, the very-most-top eyelet and the heel of the outsole. Rounding off this pair is the velcro heel strap at the back and the ICECREAM stamp motif seen at the lateral rear-quarter.
