UPDATE (March 18, 2020): The release date for the adidas Predator 20.1 TR ANML has been postponed until further notice.

ORIGINAL STORY (March 16, 2020): adidas Soccer‘s ever-influential Predator line has readied its spikeless 20.1 TR trainer in a new ANML style. Offering a scaly snakeskin print and slithering iridescent overlays, the menacing boot is clearly designed for players who are cold-blooded on the pitch or in their training regimens.

High-cut laceless uppers use a distinct 3-piece construction composed of a Primeknit base layer, a K-Leather forefoot/midfoot and a suede heel. The stretchy-yet supportive black base provides seamless lockdown and offers recognizable style with a reptilian print. This is overlaid by the thick black K-Leather forefoot and midfoot with similarly serpentine stylings, plus a shimmering Three Stripe graphic dressed in a rich iridescent hue. Suede heel pieces add structure around the rear of the foot while offering embossed Predator motifs and more snakeskin-adjacent accents.

Down below, full-foot black BOOST midsoles combine an UltraBOOST-esque feel with the football-ready upper, and a Continental rubber outsole with a disk-like traction pattern completes the look.

The adidas Predator 20.1 TR ANML will release at retailers like BSTN on March 21, and is priced at €160 EUR (approximately $179 USD).
