adidas Revives Archival Predator Mania FG in "Royal Blue"
Relaunching in its original form.
adidas Football has looked into its archive to resurrect a much-loved early ’00s football boot. The Predator Mania FG has returned, 18 years after it graced the pitch during the 2002 FIFA World Cup in Japan and South Korea.
The new release is a like-for-like reconstruction of the iconic silhouette and colorway, which features a premium K-leather upper, fold-over tongue and curved forefoot pads. The boot’s upper is decked out in “Royal Blue,” which is offset with white Three Stripe detailing and “Active Red” touches, including the fold-over tongue and heel plate. Updating the boot for 2020, adidas has also added the Predator 20+ soleplate.
Take a look at the boot in the gallery above, and head over to Pro:Direct Soccer to get your hands on the archival release.
In related news, adidas has also worked with Jacquard by Google to bring real-world football into FIFA Mobile.
