magCulture & Junya Watanabe MAN Celebrate 'The Real Review,' 'Civilization' & More
The SS20 T-shirts also champion Dobri IPA’s brushstroke illustrations.

Junya Watanabe MAN‘s T-shirts from its Spring/Summer 2020 collaboration with the British magazine retailer and design studio magCulture have released.
The white T-shirts sport large graphics taken from some of the most notable publications celebrated by magCulture, such as The Real Review — an independent architecture, culture, and politics magazine — and the New York newspaper-esque print, Civilization.
Junya Watanabe MAN’s take on The Real Review sports a large illustrative graphic on the front, and is offered as a two-pack. One top features a simplistic masthead with a black-and-orange eye graphic drawn on top, while the other captures The Real Review‘s first-ever issue from Spring 2016 alongside its editor’s letter.
Alongside this is the Civilization piece, which captures Vol. 1, Issue 1. It sports the original artwork penned by Kurt Woerpel, and is plain on the reverse. Rounding out Junya Watanabe MAN’s trio of T-shirts is a homage to the independent beer maker Dobri, capturing its Grass Hopper IPA. The graphic used is straight from Dobri’s bottle label, which is simplistic and features a brush-stroked illustration of the IPA’s flavor notes.
