A Closer Look at the HAVEN x New Balance M990RG5
Tinged with smooth Horween leather and CORDURA AFT mesh.

Teased just yesterday, we now get a closer look at the HAVEN x New Balance M990RG5. Coming in a lush gray colorway, the new sneakers see a rich array of functional materials that maximize utility for the lifestyle silhouette. This release marks the second collaboration by the two labels, following the previous blacked-out rendition of the 990v5 from a few months ago.
Starting at the top of the shoe is a glossy “MADE IN THE USA” badge placed at the tongue, over a bed of CORDURA AFT mesh. The breathable fabric is also seen at the collars, upper quarter and toebox, complemented by form-fitting rubber overlays that connect to the topmost eyelet. To match the sneaker’s smooth interiors, the heel counter comes in delicate Horween leather that sports a small “v” panel highlight. Furthermore, a reflective “N” logo is sewn over pigskin suede, covering the sidewalls and toecap, while concealed 3M strips outline the almond-shaped arch of the toebox. As a final note, the shoe boasts a dark gray articulated ENCAP midsole, equipped with a shock-resistant TPU insert for maximum comfort and support.
The HAVEN x New Balance M990RG5 will be available on March 14, 4:00 PM EST at HAVEN’s website for $210 USD.
