Dior's New SoHo, NYC Men's Boutique: An Inside Look
Offering an elevated shopping experience complete with a VIP suite.
Dior has opened its new men’s boutique in the heart of New York City’s SoHo neighborhood. Located right beside the luxury label’s women’s store, the men’s shop features a striking front window showcasing a massive Daniel Arsham sculpture. Inside, a clean interior is well-pronounced as light oak wood floors seamlessly contrast the off-white textured walls. Shoppers will also be greeted by a painting titled “Sound of Friday 6,” done by New York-based artist Yoon Hyup who was specially commissioned by Dior for this location.
As for the selection of goods, leather items are at the front of the shop which are elegantly displayed in glass cases on brushed metal blade shelves. An extensive footwear selection of sneakers, boots and other casual shoes are then neatly showcased which then leads to the full ready-to-wear section. The RTW area is perhaps the most impressive in the store as clothing pieces are not only shown on racks and mannequins but some are also suspended from the ceiling on champagne finished rails.
Ultimately, right below Hyup’s painting and leading down to a staircase is a VIP suite where clients can get focused service and easy access to the both levels via elevator.
Dior’s new SoHo outpost is sure to be a favorite destination for the luxury brand’s fans in the city. As Dior states, “the boutique offers a modern, open floor environment indicative of the spirit of SoHo, while at the same time reflecting Dior’s heritage of timeless elegance, luxury and innovation.”
