Balenciaga Track.2 Heads For the Podium With Gold Colorway
A gold medal finish for the popular chunky sneaker.

Balenciaga‘s Track.2 has cemented its place as one of the globe’s most popular couture house sneakers, and now it’s set to take a spot on the proverbial podium of pudgy styles with a new “Gold” colorway. Mixing metallic and monochromatic hues, this Track.2 is big, bold and boisterous.
Uppers are constructed of mesh and coated in a compelling cacophony of gold synthetic overlays, all of which feature a washed effect for a worn-in look. These twisting pieces experiment with gold’s various shades, ranging from flat, muted metal tones to metallic hues. A handful of black trim/accents are added as well.
A Balenciaga badge appears on the lateral forefoot and a “Track” stamp graces the heel, while the shoe’s size is embroidered on the tip of the toebox. Two sets of laces add extra texture to the heavily layered detailing. Down below, a blocky EVA foam midsole combines black, white and grey hues, with a debossed double B logo present on the toe cap. A black rubber outsole completes the look.
The Balenciaga Track.2 “Gold” is available on the brand’s webstore now, and retails for a standard $895 USD.
