Sportswear expert Eric Emanuel has again linked with Italian denim brand Diesel for a second round of collaborative goods, encompassing covetable editions of his signature mesh shorts. The range also includes graphic outerwear, T-shirts and a limited edition tote for die-hard fans.
The creative’s iconic shorts feature retro co-branding and splashy stripes, a perfectly complement to the chenille-patched and star-accented denim jackets, offered in faded washes for a retro feel. Each color, exclusive to a different retailer, will be accompanied by a Diesel-branded ringer tee enlivened by tie-dyed hems. Of course, the shorts — cropped to thigh-length — and classic Diesel denim jackets are more than enough of a statement on their own, encouraging lively transitional weather looks.
Eric Emanuel’s latest collaboration with Diesel will hit Bodega’s web store, Patron of the New and Fred Segal’s websites and stores later this month, as well as a special store to be announced by Emanuel on October 9 via Instagram. This store will be the only one to envelope customers’ purchases within a limited edition denim tote bag.
Diesel, which recently appointed Glenn Martens its creative director, also introduced “Unforgettable Denim” for Fall/Winter 2020.
