Nike Gives Its Blazer Mid '77 Vintage a New Snakeskin Makeover
Opting for a “Vast Grey” upper.
In September of last year, Nike gave fans a new iteration of its famed Blazer Mid ’77 Vintage silhouette, dousing the shoe’s upper with a “Reptile White” snakeskin Swoosh and heel panel. The iconic sportswear company is now bolstering its reptilian highlights with a new take on the sneaker.
Employing a classic leather upper in “Vast Grey,” the old-school basketball shoe has opted for a “Metallic Red Bronze” snakeskin-printed leather Swoosh and rear heel panel donning “Nike” embroidery. This is met by contrasting gray suede panels that mark the toecap, equally placed on the lateral side’s lower portion near the front of the silhouette. This all sits above a sleek “Sail” outsole, with the lace-up fastening made to match.
