Franck Joubert Transforms Sports Jerseys & T-shirts Into Premium Leather Bags

Paris-based designer Franck Joubert is gaining attention with his handmade bags crafted from recognizable apparel. Having worked with this distinct style for four years, Joubert transforms common T-shirts and sport jerseys into luxe accessories with his unique designs. For example, one leather bag is made up of a printed Patta x Jordan shirt, while another is constructed from a FC Barcelona jersey.

“The idea is simple, to sublimate a garment, whether it is a sports jersey, a uniform, a polo shirt or a T-shirt, by transforming it into a bag, while offering impeccable quality,” the designer explains. Although he has worked with some of the largest French fashion houses for decades, his luxury bags have been made public only recently.

Handmade in Paris, each bag is constructed from full grain leather. Garments such as Jordan Brand x Paris Saint-Germain jerseys, Nike x French Football Federation tunics, Lacoste polo shirts and more are then sewn directly onto the pieces.
